Learning how to paper piece is one of the most sought out quilting techniques. With this class, Jackie will take you through all the steps in an efficient and methodical way. You will have all the tools and knowledge that you will need to create a beautiful quilt.
This class is recommended for advanced beginner to confident quilters. A knowledge of how to use a rotary cutter, ruler and to cut fabrics is a prerequisite. If you can do this, then this course is for you!
From selecting and cutting fabrics, to organizing, sewing and quilting your quilt, Jackie will take you through all the steps. Also, Jackie will suggest and demonstrate alternate ways to utilize the blocks in this quilt.

Your Instructor
Jackie has been a quilter since 1993 and has owned her own business, Canton Village Quilt Works since 2000. Beginning her business as a long arm quilter and then in 2009 adding an online quilt fabric shop. She has also been a quilt designer for magazines and fabric companies since 2009, a former quilting Podcaster - Jackie's Quilting Chronicles, and a Certified Judy Niemeyer Instructor and Shop.
Jackie travels throughout the country to lecture, do workshops and trunk shows. Jackie's first book was published in September, 2015 by Martingale & Co titled Splash of Color: A Rainbow of Brilliant Black and White Quilts. Jackie is also a Bluprint Instructor with two online classes. Jackie has her own line of published patterns, currently 45 and counting!
In 2016 Jackie began working with Island Batik and has been designing fabrics and quilt patterns around her fabric lines. She is also an Aurifil thread designer too. Jackie’s newest ventures are her partnership with Viking/Husquavarna as a Brand Ambassador and also with Quiltster, where you can color Jackie’s patterns with your own fabric.
